"We take so many people to work and to school. It's a great service, especially for the lower income and the elderly riders – but also for everyone. Working for BATA, I feel like I’m a part of the community. I’m helping people get from point A to point B." – Nikki, Dispatcher
Friday, 1/23/2026 UPDATE: Village Loops all will end after their 5:30pm outbounds & out-of-service by 7:30pm. City Loops and Bayline will all end after their 7:30pm outbounds, & out-of-service by 8pm. All LINKs are reserved for return trips home. Be safe, stay warm, & have a GREAT weekend!
Plan ahead, don't get stranded. Extreme cold temperatures and blowing snow may cause dangerous travel conditions and BATA services may be delayed or suspended at any time Friday, January 23. Please reconsider transit trips unless absolutely necessary. We would not be saying this unless there truly was a risk to your safety by being outside too long.
"I like driving, I like traveling, and I like the area that we live in. So any time of year, even in the winter, it’s always a beautiful time to drive around." – Shane, Link Driver

Thank you to the kind folks at our Route 2 bus stop at Barlow and Centre who consistently shovel snow for other riders. We notice you, as well as homeowners who shovel the stop at Glenview, the homeowners on the west side of Union St, St Francis Church, and many more. YOU make a difference to our riders who have mobility challenges when it snows. THANK YOU!
