Student Seasonal Routes

BATA is pleased to assist with school transportation to help parents be where they need to be too.

 

See below for information on our three 2024/2025 student-based seasonal routes; 

• WEST - Traverse City West Senior High School and The Children's House Montessori School
• Route 11 - Leelanau Flex - Glen Lake Schools
• Route 16 - Old Mission Peninsula School
• Route 31 - Grand Traverse Academy and Woodland School

Parents can check out www.batabustracker.com, use Google Maps, or download the Transit App to track these buses as they travel.

 

 

 

 

 

* BATA WEST will not operate early morning and late afternoon school runs on shared TCAPS/The Children's House holidays/breaks (November 27-29, December 23 - Jan 3, 3/24 - 3/28, 5/26, and after June 11th) or on TCAPS snow days.  BATA WEST does run its standard public route each Monday - Friday between 8am and 2:30pm regardless of school schedules.  Students and staff may request a pickup at school between 8am and 2pm towards Munson/Downtown TC or towards YMCA/Meijer by calling BATA at 231.941.2324.  This may be helpful for those students who need transportation to CTC or NMC during the school day.  BATA WEST connects to Bayline and other routes at Hall St or at Meijer.

 

* BATA WEST will have an early departure time from West Senior High School for TCAPS early release/half days/mid-tern & final exams.  The Children's House will have a bus arrive at their school those afternoons as normally scheudled. 

 

WSH half days:  9/6, 10/14, 1/20, 4/18, 6/11  (LAST DAY of School)

WSH 2-hour early dismissal: 10/3, 12/4, 1/9/25, 2/3, 3/4, 4/9, & 5/5

WSH exam days:  TBD

WSH Holidays: 11/1, 11/5, 11/27-11/29, 12/23/2024 - 1/03/2025, 3/21-3/28, & 5/26 

 

TCH half days: 11/14, 12/20, 3/13, 4/11, 5/23, 6/6

TCH Holidays:10/11, 11/15, 11/27-11/29, 12/23/24 - 1/06/2025, 1/20, 2/14, 2/17, 3/14, 3/24-3/28, 5/26
