Summer Vacation is here and ALL summer seasonal bus routes are paused/modified for summer break from classes. Please contact your school to inquire about any summer transportation.
BATA is pleased to assist with school transportation to help parents be where they need to be too.
See below for information on our three 2024/2025 student-based seasonal routes;
- WEST - Traverse City West Senior High School and The Children's House Montessori School
- Route 11 - Leelanau Flex - Glen Lake Schools and The Leelanau School
- Route 16 - Old Mission Peninsula School and Greenspire High School
- Route 31 - Grand Traverse Academy and Woodland School

Parents can check out www.batabustracker.com, use Google Maps, or download the Transit App to track these buses as they travel.
* West is still in service for the summer for any ride-by-request to either West Senior High School or The Children's House during summer school hours. West will continue to run between Hall Street downtown and the Children's House from June 16th - August 21...with a delayed departure time of 7:45am to arrive at The Children's House at 8am.

Glen Lake Students may ride Route 11/Glen Arbor from and to the M-72 MDOT Park-n-Ride lot during the school year or by deviation request in the summer. Contact your school or visit www.bata.net/villageloops for details.
- 11 - Leelanau Flex - Glen Lake Schools:
- 7:15 a.m. - Departure from Traverse City Hall Street Transfer Center
- 7:45 a.m. – Departure from M-72 MDOT Park-n-Ride Lot
- 8:00 a.m. – Arrival at Glen Lake School
- 3:15/3:17 p.m. – Departure from Glen Lake School
- 3:30 p.m. – Arrival at M-72 MDOT Park-n-Ride Lot
- Half day departure at 11:40 a.m. with a 11:55/Noon arrival at the M-72 MDOT Park-n-Ride Lot
Route 16 - Old Mission Peninsula (seasonal September - June)
Greenspire/NMC Univeristy Center students may board this bus at any BATA LaFranier Road bus stop in the mornings and request it to stop at their campus. The bus will return to Greenspire at 4:02pm each day (OMPS half days and holidays excluded - see list above) and return to LaFranier Road where they could transfer to Route 2 (downtown, TADL library, Barlow St, LaFranier Road, Goodwill Inn) or Route 7 (Meijer, Walmart, Garfield Rd.)
Route 31 - Hammond Rd & Supply Rd. (seasonal September - June)
