How to Purchase Tickets

 

Fare cards for bus transportation can be purchased at the Hall Street transfer station or riders can pay with cash when boarding the bus.   Link riders may also pay using the BATA Link app.  


 

Where: Hall Street Transfer Station located at 115 Hall Street, Traverse City.

 

Payment: Visa, MasterCard, debit card, cash, or local check with I.D.

 

At this time, fare passes cannot be purchased at BATA's LaFranier Park-n-Ride.

 

EZ Fare is coming in Fall 2026 (it is delayed until futher notice while small technology tweaks are finalized)!  Yes, you can still pay with cash and purchase and reload plastic fare cards.  But you will also eventually be able to pay with your phone, get fare capping benefits for frequent riders, and load your fare cards from home or at area retail stores and more!  Zip, Zoom, and Commuter passes are still available to purchase in the meantime and will be valid until December 31, 2026.
