How to Purchase Tickets

 

Fare cards for bus transportation can be purchased at the Hall Street transfer station or riders can pay with cash when boarding the bus.   Link riders may also pay using the BATA Link app.  


 

Where: Hall Street Transfer Station located at 115 Hall Street, Traverse City.

 

Payment: Visa, MasterCard, debit card, cash, or local check with I.D.

 

At this time, fare passes cannot be purchased at BATA's LaFranier Park-n-Ride.

 

The last day to purchase our old style Zip & Zoom style passes is August 15th, and those will expire Dec 31, 2026.  EZ Fare is coming August 17, 2026!  Yes, you can still pay with cash and purchase and reload plastic fare cards.  But you will also be able to pay with your phone, get fare capping benefits to frequent riders, and load your fare cards from home or at area retail stores and more!
