Ride BATA to the Northwestern Michigan Fair August 4th - 9th, 2025

 

Going to the Fair?  Take Village Loop Route 12

 

From *Hall Street Transfer Station in downtown TC outbound (also serves passengers boarding at Grand Traverse Mall at the Dunham's Sports BATA shelter 8 minutes later):

  • Monday - Saturday at: 9:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm, & 5:30pm 

 

Arriving at the NW Mich Fair at:

  • 9:56am, 11:56am, 1:56pm, 3:56pm, and 5:56pm and continuing to Blair Township Hall and Interlochen.
  • (The last bus outbound to Interlochen leaves the Fair at 5:56pm each day)

 

From the Park-n-Ride at Blue Vase Bookstore in Interlochen inbound to TC:

  • Monday - Friday @ 11:30am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm, & 5:30pm.
  • Saturday @ 10:30am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm, 4:30pm, and 6:30pm

 

Arriving at the NW Mich Fair from Interlochen at:

  • Monday - Friday11:50am, 1:50pm, 3:50pm, and 5:50pm
  • (The last bus M-F inbound to GT Mall & Traverse City leaves the Fair at ~5:50pm each weekday)
  • Saturday @ 10:50am, 12:50pm, 2:50pm, 4:50pm and 6:50pm.
  • (The last bus inbound to GT Mall & Traverse City leaves the Fair Saturday at ~6:50pm)

 

*Riders can arrive at Hall Street using any of BATA's connecting buses.  See our schedules, use Google Maps, download the Transit App, or visit www.batabustracker.com for more information and to track our buses from your phones.  Free parking is available at Meijer and Woodland Creek Park-n-Ride, then take the free Bayline to Hall Street.  Traveling from Interlochen?  Free Parking is available at the Blue Vase Bookstore.  

 

The fare to go the Fair using Route 12 is $3.00 each way exact change/BATA fare cards/mobile payment app (50% discount for seniors, students, military/veterans, and disabled riders.)  Click here for cool payment options besides cash.

 

Monday, August 4th is Senior Day at the Fair!  All seniors (60 years and up, with a picture ID) going to the Fair that day ride BATA's Loop buses*  for free.  Simply tell the driver as you board any bus on your way to or boarding Route 12.  *BATA Link buses will still require their standard fare.
