Village Loops have the flexibility for deviations and flag stops along the BATA bus route. This means that riders can call BATA at (231) 941-2324 to schedule a pickup or drop off up to ¾ of a mile off the normal route path. Plus, riders can simply wave the bus down along the route and board the bus or ask the driver to stop anywhere along the loop transportation route to depart the bus.

Leelanau County Routes 10 & 11: (Grand Traverse Routes are further down this page)
Route 10: Traverse City to Suttons Bay. Buses every two hours Monday - Saturday.
: May - October (but Route 10 buses still carry 3 bikes the rest of the year)
Riders to Empire, Leland, Lake Leelanau, Omena, and Northport should request a ride using BATA Link.
Route 11 - Traverse City to Glen Arbor. Two trips a day, Monday - Friday.
Traverse City's Hall Street Transfer Station to Glen Arbor. This bus will fit three(3) bikes and connects Traverse City with the Glen Arbor bus shelter on Oak Street.
Route 11 is now on a limited schedule for the remainder of the school year to accommodate the school schedule. There are only these runs until summer 2026:
- 7:15am outbound to Glen Arbor
- 8:30am inbound to Traverse City
- 2:00pm outbound to Glen Arbor
- 3:00pm inbound to Traverse City
Please note, Route 11 will NOT be in service during inclement weather no-school days for Glen Lake Schools between October and June. Route 11 will not be in service on days when Glen Lake Schools are not in session and will not have a 2pm outbound/3pm inbound afternoon run on early release days for Glen Lake Schools. Please note those dates listed below or see https://www.glenlakeschools.org/ for details. It is the rider's responsibility, to understand these constraints on Route 11.
Note: The last bus each day depends on the Glen Lake School calendar. See below.
- Route 11 to and from Glen Arbor and Glen Lake Schools does not run when school is not in session:
- Half day departure at 11:40 a.m. (no 2pm outbound/3pm inbound) with a 11:55/Noon arrival at the M-72 MDOT Park-n-Ride Lot:
- Oct 16, Jan 22&23, Feb 13, April 17, June 12 (last day of school)
- No School (and no Route 11) on:
- Oct 17, Nov 3, Nov 26-28, Dec 22-Jan2, Jan 19, Feb 16, March 30 - April 6, May 25.

Grand Traverse County Routes 12 - 14 & WEST
Route 12 - Traverse City to GT Mall, Chum's Corner, Blair, & Interlochen. Buses every hour Monday - Friday and every two hours on Saturday.
The first inbound bus from Interlochen is 6:25am!
Route 13 - Traverse City to Kingsley, Monday - Friday. Buses almost every hour between LaFranier park-n-Ride and Kingsley except for AM and PM peak travel periods when Route 13 travels all the way to downtown Traverse City/Hall St.
(Connect to Kingsley almost every hour using Route 2!)
*Beginning October 20th, Route 13 8:30am, 3:30pm, and 5:30pm outbounds go direct to Goodwill Inn and Keystone Village by request.
* Indian Trails travels directly between BATA's Hall Street Station in Traverse City to Kingsley seven days a week, departing TC at 10:25am and arriving Kingsley Laundromat at 10:55am. Visit Indian Trails' updated schedule here.
* Indian Trails travels directly between BATA's Hall Street Station in Traverse City to Kingsley seven days a week, arriving in TC at 6:50pm after departing Kingsley Laundromat at 6:20pm. Visit Indian Trails' updated schedule here.
Route 14 - Traverse City to Cherry Capital Airport, beach hotels, and Acme. Buses every two hours, except for an hourly mid-day service in town.
WEST FLEX: Hourly buses from 8am-2:30pm Monday-Friday between Hall Street, West Front Street, Munson Hospital, Oleson's West, Brookside Commons, YMCA, and Meijer - with deviation possibilities between 8am and 2pm along Medical Campus Drive, W. Royal Drive, Long Lake Rd, Silver Lake Rd, and Herkner Rd.
There are also school-day-only seasonal early-morning and afternoon trips to/from Traverse City West Senior High School and The Children's House. On school days, WEST leaves Hall Street at 7:25, arriving to WSH by 7:55 and TCH by 8:00. It departs WSH each school day at 3:10pm, then departs Hall Street at 3:25pm for Compass Middle students to travel to TCH by 3:45, and back at Hall Street by 4:00pm. This schedule is modified for WSH students on any day where students are dismissed early. See www.bata.net/west for more info.
BATA West operates hourly between 8:05am (inbound to Hall Street from Brookside Commons) and 2:30pm (2:00 inbound to Hall Street from Meijer).
