Front Street Closure - Summer 2020

Front Street Closure Impacts Bayline and City Loop Route 2 Monday, June 22 through Labor Day

Starting Monday, June 22, BATA’s Bayline route and City Loop Route 2 will be impacted by the closure of Front Street in downtown Traverse City between Park and Union Streets through Labor Day (Sept. 7). State Street is also being opened to two-way traffic during this same time period, and the Bayline will now travel down State Street as part of its westbound route. The following adjustments are being made to continue to provide transportation to businesses, shops and restaurants in downtown Traverse City:

  • Westbound stops being added at:
    • Front and Boardman
    • State and Cass
    • State and Union
  • Stops temporarily closed:
    • Front and Park
    • Front and Cass (Mackinaw Brewing Company)

City Loop Route 2

  • Stops temporarily closed:
    • Front and Cass (Mackinaw Brewing Company)

NOTE: Bayline route flow may change depending on State Street traffic patterns.
