BATA Transit Center Grand Opening Ushers in New Era in Public Transportation

TRAVERSE CITY, MI — The Bay Area Transportation Authority (BATA) is celebrating the opening of its new Transit Center on Hall Street in downtown Traverse City with a grand opening event on Friday, July 21.

Ride BATA


CityRide is BATA's daytime curb-to-curb, advance-reservation intown service for those who cannot access Cherriot routes. CityRide gives service priority to disabled persons.

AfterHours is BATA's evening curb-to-curb, advance-reservation intown service open to all riders.

CityRide and AfterHours offer lift-equipped mobility throughout the greater Traverse City area 365 days a year.
